sculpture

 

my sculpture work comes from my love of vintage toys. i make rubber molds from toys from the '40's, '50's, and '60's, and then cast them in resin, plaster, duracal, and portland cement. when doing this work, my goal is to strike a balance between maintaining their authenticity while also manipulating their form and context.
